Distrails, the fourth album by Selva de Mar, produced by more than a hundred
backers thanks to crowfunding, is among us. This time, the percussion, hang
and cello duo interweaves itself in symphonies swathed in the voices of Mû,
Stephanie Pan and Dave Bianchi, the drums of Oriol Roca, and the deepness of
Eyal Street’s bassoon.
Pablo Wayne and Sasha Agranov design their classic yet more mature wakes of aquatic music on an almost imperceptible canvas of electronic arrangements from Attica that raises them, as the album title suggests, towards a sky with no other limit than the imagination of those who listen.
